IES LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
ACEC-IA Members are welcome to participate in the PE Leadership Institute that is sponsored by the Iowa Engineering Society.
The PE Institute is aimed at giving practicing professional engineers the leadership skills needed to succeed in this demanding profession. These programs will be tailored for the professional engineer with 7-10 years of experience and who are looking to advance their careers.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Dialogue with other key leaders in the engineering community
- Apply what you learn to enhance your own personal leadership skills
- Shape the future of the engineering profession in Iowa
- Shape the future of Iowa’s leading engineering organizations
- Use what you have learned to benefit your employer, your profession and your career
- Explore ways to inspire and motivate those around you
The Institute is designed to provide approximately 40 Professional Development Hours. All participants completing the course will receive a PE Institute Leadership Certificate and recognition at the annual conference.
Institute Expectations: Each participant is expected to attend all sessions (dinners are optional). Individuals missing more than one session will be addressed on a case by case basis. Costs associated with overnight stays, optional activities not covered by registration are the responsibility of the individual or their employer.
NOTE: The next leadership class is scheduled to begin in November of 2023.
